Out of the over 250 books I read in 2023, there were several that stood out and remained with me. Check out my favorite reads in multiple categories in the following downloadable guide. I've also included links to Amazon so you can read the full blurb and add to cart or wishlist. :) These are affiliate links that add a smidge to my classroom budget so I can buy books for our classroom library and other needed supplies. I'd love to hear which of these you read and loved!
This is a year long guide since I just thought to do this. LOL. But I hope to do seasonal ones in the future. This one includes my six favorite reads in the following categories: Mystery/Thriller, Romance, Retellings, Non-fiction, Literary Fiction, and overall 5-star reads.
I surprised myself by really enjoying the speculative fiction sub-genre this year. Books by Nikki Erlick and John Marrs were among my favorites. I also discovered a few new authors that will be autobuys for me in the future, including Stephen Rowley, S.A. Cosby, and Benjamin Stevenson.
